What is the difference between there "e" and "s" housings? does one housing spool up faster than the other?

the E has a 3" inlet and the S has a 4" inlet. Dont quote me, but I belive that the S cover is just for bling, and not a huge difference. I have the bling cover on my 35R.

e is 3" inlet 2" outlet .60 AR
s is 4" inlet 2.5" outlet .70 AR

there is no bling factor to the s cover... unless you polish it

no, it's all about cfm. the s will support more hp, but at some point between the two there is lag and temp trade-off's. this is where a compressor map comes in. bigger is not better...proper size for your hp goal is.

S trims are supposed to have very similar spool characteristics while giving slightly better flow.

I'm pretty sure that the "ptrim" refers to the wheel, not the compressor housing.

Precision is having a sale on these things until december...good time to pick one up

GTQ and GTS chargers waaay cheap

all sc50-sc61 waaay cheap.

Even so that I picked up a SC6152SP (Ported S Cover...that i WILL polish because I am all about BLING BLING y0!)

btw I run a Purple TiAl 44mm gate and Purple 50mm Bov

working on getting the compressor backing plate annodized purple.

I'll probably have to send it to char at tial to get done so we get it the right color of purple :D

I can't believe how much these things have gone up in price. $900 for an SC61 is ridiculous. Not too long ago, I remember these selling for less than $600 shipped.

I don't think I've ever seen a retail price on them that high. At first I thought it might be one of the ball bearing turbos.
