Default Precision Turbo Which model to chooose???

Hey guys, im boosting my integra and i need help deciding on which turbo to use.
So far here is my set up
94 teg LS
b18c1 motor
Itr trans w lsd
3" exhuast
most likely 2.5" dp
etc
Im looking to be puttin down about 260 at first and increasing boost next winter to get 310 whp
It's my daily driver so i;m not looking for insane whp
Anyways, im deciding between the precision sc32, sc50 and sc 61 turbos.
Wat kind of setups/whp are you guys with these turbos getting? Also, about what rpms are you achieving full boost? Thanks alot guys, and any other pointers would be helpful.

I agree with them^^^^

SC34 would be a nice turbo for your setup! If you are looking for a turbo that will be nice and have potential to make alot more power later down the road the sc61 would be nice!

I say go for the sc61. At 10 psi on a stock b18c, people have made almost 360whp, and they say it spools around 5k rpm's. Not too bad for the GSR motor, b/c it will rev to 8k.

If his goal is only 310whp, why not just go with the SC50? It's efficient to around 400whp, which makes it perfect for your goals, its smaller and faster spooling and will still have some room to grow above your current goal if you change your mind.

My vote goes with the SC50 unless you want bigger numbers.

Ohh, and to get 260whp, you yould probally only need to run about 5-7psi on the sc61. Don't forget good engine managment

Kate,

I would actually go with the SC50. The SC50 is a more effcient turbo and has the largest major diameter of all the T04E family. Its a fun set up and Ive seen 491whp at 30psi. So for your goals and a more "fun" set up I'd go with the SC50.

Damn, what engine was te 491whp made on? I hear with the .48 A/R they are good to 400whp. I'm assuming this was done with the .63.

Dam 491 on 30psi sucks ***. We have a b16 stock bore size puttin out 513 on 24 psi. Its a 1.8 liter though but still standard size bore.

Sc34 or Sc50. For your goals I would say the sc61 is a little overkill.

Not with an SC50 though! 491whp is alot on that size turbo and will spool very quickly. Turbo "A" might make 350whp at 20 psi with a FASTER spool and nice powerband, Turbo "B" might make 400whp at 20 psi with a slower spool and less usable powerband. I would probably take Turbo "A".

But this was 5 years ago when there was no hondata, AEM or anything that you could plug in.

SC50 from Art

Worked for me...got a good deal and even though my sister is now afraid of people with corn rows, it was worth it.
