Just a CORRECTION to that statement before people are misinformed. Porting the housing DOES NOT hurt top end BUT what I do believe you meant to say is a PORTED SHROUD hurts top end power. A PORTED SHROUD aka ANTISURGE SHROUD helps to prevent well duh SURGING but at the same time hurts overall power, how much I cannot say.
