hey guys just trying to do a little more research before i choose a turbo and i was curious if anyone is running this turbo yet. Ive heard good things from Viren and i also spoke with someone at precision.

my question is when does this turbo spool by roughly on a 84 mm gsr motor 9.5to1 compression.

i mainly want something that will make 400 on pump and be streetable.
any feedback appreciated.

 

I now have one, but its not on the car yet. I spoke with Jim at Precision, he was the person who assembled it.
I asked this same question. Im still using stock 81mm bore and roughly 9.5:1 compression ratio. He said it'll spool around 38-3900 rpm.

friends at the shop want me to run one with a t3 back housing on my sohc to see how it does..

 

are you running a sc50 now. That thing looks huge for a sohc. But good numbers!!

 

yes i ran the sc50 but i lent it ot a friend and i might get the other one, not sure on waht the whole plan is..
