Precision SC61
i just recieved my sc61 and it has a t04e compressor and i was just wondering if that will suport the hp of 680+ hp with that compressor it does have a gt40 wheel bt i am just wondering about it.
it only has a 2iun. outlet and a 3in. inlet on it will a t04s be better for that kind of hp? and my intercooler piping is 2.5 and i was hopeing that it would have the t04s compressor for that and other reasons

Yeah, it'll make that. I just ordered a SC61 with a to4s housing.

now can i just swap the housings and will that be ok?
and with the t04s housing wont it support more hp then the t04e due to that it is going to flow more and about how much more?

Guys,
We can build the SC-61 with a T04S cover at no additional charge, but you will make 680-hp at the crank with our standard cover no problem. It may take us a little longer, though.
What makes the SC-61 particularly special is the fact that we are using one of the newest Garrett GT technology wheels in this. These wheels feature the latest aerodynamic packages available in the industry.
All of the SC series turbos have a suggested retail price of $775 and are available at a number of Precision dealers on this web site.
Hope this helps.

What I'm meaning to say is that it may take us a little longer to build one since I need to get some T04S covers in. We normally can turn these around in just a few days. Sorry for the confusion.

Wow... that sounds like a fantastic price from what I've heard about these turbos. Why are they so much cheaper than the Garrett turbos?
Can you help me out picking a Precision turbo? I'm looking at replacing my Turbonetics turbo which came with me DRAG GEN III kit for my GSR. I'm looking for 300-350whp at around 12-15psi. I'm more interested in quick spool up and a meaty power band as apposed to top end power. I was considering going with a 48 turbine, stage III 50, super-50 or 52 compressor.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Why are we cheaper ? Uhhhh, Ummmm, Errrrrr . . . . (blank) . . . I gues it bcause we live in the social wasteland of the world here in NW Indiana. (Geeez, maybe I should raise the prices???)
The SC-50 will give you 425-hp at the crank and spool at about 2,800. It comes in either a .48 or .63 A/R. Don't go too overboard with quick spooling, though, unless you're doing stoplight to stoplight racing. You want to save some power for the top end on the interstate.
I'll be in Phoenix this weekend at the Pacific Street Car Assoc. season opener. Will check back in with you guys on Monday.
