yea, the 5831 does seem like a better deal, which provides more room for growth. i just to see if there's any feedback on the 5831, spool time, most effiecient psi, etc...its open ended for feedback.

 

My precision 5831 turbo b16 build will be finished soon...maybe around 3 weeks. I've got wiesco pistons 9.5:1 compression bored 81.5mm eagle rods, fully built head, 660cc injectors. Kinda vague but i'll be doing a huge build thread on it soon as i get everything together if your still interested!

 

Sounds good. After weeks of deciding which turbo to get, I went and got a 6262. **** huge compared to my old 4831. But keep me updated on the 5831.

 

So to get 400whp on a B16 worried about "spool" and you get one of the larger sized mid-framed turbo to give the laggiest response possible. That's...interesting. What a thought process.

 

lol, true. I have a new power goal now, looking for 500 plus on the b16. And room to grow.
