Default pre-boost check

im planning on boosting my d16y8 and it has 144k miles. i want to to a compresson check on the motor to make sure all cylenders are still good so to say. it does run strong but i wanna make sure u know?

so how would i go about doing a compression check? i have a air comressor but what else would i need? any imput is greatly appreciated

compression test wont require an air comporessor
but if you doing a leak down test you will


when you do the compression test
if hte numbers are 20- + psi from each other . then you are set to go

Buy a kit for like $10-$20 and then search for a write up.
