pr4 pistons any good?
ok im changing my headgasket i have a b16 head with gsr block. soon to have gsr cams in it
when i took the head off the pistons says pr4 .8 is this any good for boost? its been boosted i just wanna see if its any good if not ill change it since the head is off
how much can it handle?

With the info given you should have around a 9.4:1 compression ratio which is boost friendly. It will not handle a crazy amount of boost since they are stock B18 A/B pistons. I would say a max of 12-15 lbs with a good tune assuming everything is in good shape. Remember a touch of detonation on stock cast pistons means an explosion that will make you frown.
No, don't do it there is no point unless you want an extrmely doggy motor. Just stick with the standard .030" and all will be good. (Not only that but it ruins quench...) Either that or just do what you want...
