Default pr3 ecu with obd1 injectors?

what do you have to do to when removing the resistor box to run 440 injectors with obd0? question might be a lil short but it's something like remove the power that goes to clip in the resistor box harness. (if that rings a bell? ) thanks

Solder all 5 wires going to the resistor box together into one giant messy lump.

seriously, thats exactly what you do when removing the resistor box. cut it as close to the resistor box as you can. strip a bit of the wire then solder it all together. im not sure that theres any other way to make it cleaner than that.

Yeah there is a way. I did it on my car. You need to get this plug that comes on obd-1 Hondas. I'm not exactly sure where it's located under the hood though. I just pulled mine off of an old wiring harness that my friend had laying around. The plug joins all the wires together that orginally would have gone to the resistor box. The plug makes for a clean look but it's not necessary.

If you need more info on the plug I can try to explain it a little better.

thanks fellas. i wasn't doubting (raene). i just wanted to know if there was a cleaner way but it doesn't matter now because the injectors im get are compatable with my setup without any mods.

but will my car run on 440s with a stock ecu and vafc until Parks from HARTENG hooks up my hondata and tunes it?

It will if you turn down the fueling through the VAFC. I'm not one to tell you what settings you'll need or how to adjust the VAFC, I've never done that before.

As for hiding the wires, you can trace them, fold back them and tuck them into the loom for a stock look and tape it back up afterwards. I've done this numerous times on swaps. If you do it right, it's unnoticeable. Good luck!

What you can do is get the harness from another resistor box and solder the wires together there.. then just plug in the harness.. That way if you ever wanted to go back to p&h injectors you just unplug the harness and plug in the resistor box..
