so why would you want to post the engine block and know you are running weak rods. you think the block is going to break before the rods. i have bad news for you

What kind of motors are you building that the rods fail before the sleeves?

he said he was going to use b16 rods. imo b16 rods are not that strong(300whp or so)
d16 sleeves can handle 500

B16 rods are the strongest stock b series rod there is... They have made upwards of 450hp. D series sleeves are strong i have personally witness a few that made 500 and one that holds a record at 602

ok you didnt say they werent stronger but you made a completely missinformed statement saying that the aftermarkets wear out in 10-15k miles. thats completely inaccurate plain and simple.

The sleeves will crack from pressure rods will break from a number of things... Its all in the tune we have made a little over 500 on stock gsrs the sleeves always crack before the rods go... B16 rods are shorter and in turn stronger.
