t70 for 400 whp?? Thats alot of turbo. You b16 will have a hard time spooling that thing. Why don't you go with something a little more convential? A t3/t4 57 trim will get you there with fast spool time. If you wanted to go bigger with the intention of future upgrade, you could still get an sc60 or something, but a t70 is overkill.

that it a lot of turbo for that power level, my 67ho at 520 was kinda laggy but it was nasty.

either way g/l with the build

i agree...its too much turbo for your goals. Get a SC61 and you'll have a lot less lag

its a 61mm turbo. its not a "real" t70 its a 61mm .70 a/r compressor with an .84 exhaust. exhaust housing is a twin scroll t3 flange with a vband. its the same compressor wheel as the gt35r, sc61, t61 etc etc. the specs on the ebay t70 are almost identical to a gt35 only journal bearing....they are commonly called the poormans gt35.

I have actually decided to sleeve my block so i can crank the boost up 2 around 20psi and am now going to get a top mount from bryson, 880cc or 1000cc injectors, gm 3 bar, and my new goals are for around 525-600whp on 104 race gas. Is going to be a drag car only exept for an acational drive around town since its tagged till next december.

May go OBD1 and go with chrome or neptune.

were talking ebay t70 here. i think that could be gathered from this thread. a real t70 is huge. my t70 is a 61mm turbo, i took it apart and measure everything the minute i recieved it. again its the same size as a gt35, sc61, t61

im positive that its called a "super t70" cause of the .70 a/r compressor...kinda taking after the "super 60" here is my setup.
GSR motor, cams, pistons, rods, t70, xspower manifold blah blah blah....im on 15psi right now, with a severe bog at the track i trapped 121, im sure it could go 125-127 easy. i figure im around 375-400hp...anyways.
