Possible to use a BOV as a wastegate??
My buddy is going to be using the kraft works supercharger. We need a way to control boost and maybe be able to use boost-by-gear. I could just use an older 38mm Tial wastegate on the piping but its heavy and not nice on the eyes. Now I am wondering if I could make a bov work as a wastegate. Is this possible?
It could work as a pop-off valve if adjusted properly. My friend's RX7 did that @ 15psi to a Greddy BOV that was nearly all the way loosened

I've seen many use a wastegate as a BOV because of the high amount of pressures that the Drag car sees (over 60psi + of boost pressure). but definately not the other way around. it doesn't work well that way. And even then, on a turbocharger, not a self contained supercharger
