Was working on my car this weekend and noticed something, there appears to be saturation in exhaust port #3. What typically is this indicative of? Is it something to even worry about?
Valve stem seal, valve guide, oil sealing ring on the piston. I'm surprised you didn't see this in your exhaust system in the rear view mirror.
Yes, its something worry about. Time to perform some tests. Leakdown, compression, check the head for oil deposits, etc.
Oil seals on my turbo blew and there was oil in everything. There was liquid oil clear back to the muffler. I replaced the oil seals on turbo and ran it again and turbo is good. Threw out the old exhaust because it was just nasty. I went back to just NA and it seemed fine but a tiny bit of smoke came out but only under hard excelleration
