PLX Wideband install question
In the PLXapp004 document. It says at step 6 to connect the ground wire to the chassis ground near the ECU. But it also says to keep the wires short and close to the ECU to allow the unit and ECU to see the same reference ground.
How can I keep the wires short if I mount the unit in my cluster?
Might be a stupid question. I don't even have the unit yet. I should receive it next week. But I was curious.

You can also use a larger gauge wire if it is longer. What they are getting at is that you don't want a lot of resistance in the ground wire.

Re: PLX Wideband install question (beepy)
Thanks.
I was just wondering how I could mount the unit where I can see it and also mount it close to the ecu at the same time. lol
