plumback valve?

Default plumback valve?

i was talking to someone a while ago about something called a plumback valve. They basically described it as a BOV without the sound. I have never seen one of these, and if any of you have, would there be any disadvantages to them? thanks guys

its just a bov w/ the output plumbed backing into the intake between the filter and turbo. used for maf systems.

....and also known as a bypass valve by some. Same thing as decribed above.
