plugging up oil feed line?

Default plugging up oil feed line?

my turbo is hosed. i'm burning oil. is it ok that i disconnect the oil feed line and cap it off? turbo is in turbo heaven now (junkard turbo)... any advice.. would be great...

I used a 1/8" plug and just capped the line, yes it's fine to do it that way Home Depot has 'em for like 30 cents.

if you tapped off your block then you got the wrong plug. its not a standard pipe thread in the block

I know, and no, I didn't I plugged the hole in the distribution block I have. Sorry, I should've made that clear. Yes, the block is BSPT, *not* NPT.

so the 1/8 npt fitting will fit the 1/8 femal compression/flare fitting?

i was thinking about change the oil distribution scheme. I have the t near the block now. thanks for the input guys. i'm just gong to take have a union and plug it up.
