please help a newb out!!!!
First of all thanks for taking the time to read this, i have done searches etc but i still need some advice from people in the know.
I have a EG6 SiR II, which is pretty much stock. I was looking at keeping it n/a but taking into consideration the cost to make a powerful n/a car i think id be better off with a turbo setup.
So here are a few questions that i have:
1.) can i run a turbo kit without changing anything on my engine? if i do need to change stuff, what do i need to change? (im not looking for amazing bhp figures, just a fast street car)
2.) can a turbo car realistically be driven every day? i know how fast they go but can they be driven slowly and in traffic etc?
3.) Ive been looking at the Peakboost setup, what are peoples opinions on this? what would you suggest if not the peakboost kit?
If anyone has any other advice ill gladly take it!
Thanks in advance for your help

THe peakboost kit is good kit. Yes, you can drive a turbo car everyday. You dont have to change anything out on the engine. I would get some type of fuel management.

Read this link it has a lot of information that will help you. This is the sight that answered a lot of my questions when I decided to boost my ITR. I do have to say I disagree with the author's opinion on tuning. I prefer a stand-alone set-up and I am using Uberdata. Good luck!

Re: please help a newb out!!!! (200cs)
I drive my turbo car every day. I drive to work and even sit in traffic for about 30 minutes every morning and 45-60 minutes on the way home. No problems.
And I'm pushing 10psi on a stock d16.

You are welcome! By the way get ready for a ton of opinions on the subject matter. I like the information in that link because the author is not trying to sell anything he is just listing his research. You can take it or leave it but it gives a good starting point.
