my car was running fine on 5 lbs, then out of nowhere it wont boost past around 5000 rpms, i was running aem fpr, intank fp, fmu, stock injectors, brand new plugs, ive tried changing eveything to make a difference... @ about 1/4 throttle it will boost all the way through fine, but then when i try to get on the gas even a little bit it sputters and cuts off... ive tried adjustingthe fpr, bov, and vafc for tuning the fuel... ive heard alot that its running rich but ive leaned the hell out of it and its still the same... and i really dont know what else to try... and info or advice i would greatly appreciate... since this is my daily driver

 

try the plug gap , tighten it , i had the same prob

 

i already gapped the plugs to .030

 

so pretty much it wont boost at wot....right mike

What motor are we talking about?

 

99' b16a2,drag 3 kit,stock injectors,in tank pump,fmu,V-afc,P72 ecu.

Check for a failed temp sensor. If the ECu thinks the engine is cold it will rev limit at a lower value, usually near 5000 rpm. The sensor could be faulty.

if your talking about the sensor that controls the fan out of the thermostat i have that plug jumped to run the fan on full time. It wouldnt turn the fan on when it heated up
