Hey i need peoples input. I got my car back from the shop about 2 week ago and have not ran into any problems. Today as i was driving. the car starts to bog while i drive. the turbo spools and everything, No smoke from the car. I took it to jotech racing in dallas tx, They checked for leaks and we even changed out the spark plugs, the car still ran the same. He told me its either mechanical or a bad tune. I had it tune on Crome Pro...... i dont understand cause its been driving for 2 weeks strong then starts to act up all of a sudden. What do you think the problem is? they also said i was running too rich.

 

check the tps calibration and check the iat sensor any codes?

 

what do you mean?

 

Check to see if your tps sensor is calibrated correct its verry simple just check the voltage with a volt meter, then check to see if your iat sensor is dirty or has a bad connection if so fix it, and do you have any check engine codes ? it also can be a bad ecu tune!

 

i am not throwing off codes, when i had it tune it was on premeium gas from qt and i pumped gas from sams club premium do you think this could be the problem? i had it tuned for 2 weeks and it started to crap out after wards maybe its the gas

 

Yes iv heard of this!, a storry i heard way back was someone started to pump 71 or the cheap gas to save money cause he thought well its still gas.. and this was in a ITR! so after pumping and drove for a while it started to run like crap and bog in the high rpm's, so pump chevron 91!

 

I would check the mech timing. It almost sounds like the belt jumped a tooth

 

bro you might have the same problem as me back in the day. got water/rust and bad gas in the fuel system. ****ed my whole fuel system.

 

i drove out all that gas and pumped in chevron it drive better now but when i get to 6-7k it still bogbgs maybe some of that bad gas is still in there. Any body think so, It drives much better now but now like how it did. Maybe i need to drive it some more

 

check the fuel pump. and check the injector filters. (when i cleaned mine the teg started right up.)

hows the fuel filter?
