it's a good place to start if you feel any misfiring go down some more.

You probably know this, but some people don't so i want to make sure so they don't get the wrong idea. Go with a .030-.035" gap on the plugs, .32" is a big difference from .032". It's a hell of a lot bigger when gapping plugs.

how can you tell if your car is misfiring? loud popping noises upon acceleration?

yeah basically if you go to big the car will miss pretty bad. Easiest way to describe this is basically just spitting and sputtering under boost. Basically if the gap is to big and your ignition is not strong enough the boost will actually blow the spark off the plug resulting in missing.

Will that sound like the same sputtering if you're running too rich? I get that when I boost at 8psi also, so I'm not sure which one it is.
