Hi, i have had my turbo for 4 months and never have had a check engine light but this mourning i was driveing and was only reved to 3k and my check engine light came on.......i know how to reset the ecu so it will turn off but will it mess up the greddy blue box? or will it just be ok to reset it and see if it comes back on

yah you should try to figure out what kind of code you are getting. After you figure it out then try to fix it. I'm pretty sure if you reset the ecu it wont mess up the greddy blue box. Oh by the way the greddy blue box is a POS get rid of it anyways.

on the passenger side, there should be something that looks like a phone jack
but only has 2 wires.. get a paperclip or staple, and short this (with the engine off).
Then turn the key to on (without starting) and you will see the check engine light
blinking.. count the blinks for the code..
10s digit is long pulses.
1s digit is short pulses.
So long, long, long, short, short equals 32.

thank you guys for the reply.....is a code 32 due to the blue box? i was told by the guy who did my turbo that all the si's he has done have thrown a code 32
