i just replaced my head gasket...it was blown...and i also rebuilt my turbo...2 days ago...the car smokes really bad..so bad you can't see behind you at all...the motor holds antifreeze...level in the radiator doesn't move at all...so it isn't that
i took the wastegate and downpipe off..and start the car...doesn't smoke(since missing the wastegate..turbo doesn't spool)...put those back on..car smokes really bad...all of my lines(sending and return...are both not kinked or leaking)the oil is backing up in the turbo...car spools madd hard though...just as it did before all of this ****...just smokes really bad...what is going on??? did the guy who rebuilt my turbo...**** it up? someone please help!!!

sounds like bad oil seals in the turbo

I would run it for a while to make sure any residual crap burns off. Shouldnt be more than 20 minutes run time to do that.

i just had the turbo completely rebuilt....and i let the car run for atleast 30mins and i drove it too...
boosted it and all...it boosted like it did before all this **** happened...

i assume the car did not smoke before the turbo was rebuilt, correct? which company did you send the turbo to for the rebuild? it definetely sounds like your oil seal is fucked up on the turbo if you are puffing out tons of smoke, this happened to me and i filled the whole intersection up with white smoke. i also had oil all inside of the downpipe as well as over the exhaust housing of the turbo as well as on the downpipe.

i pulled my oil cap with the car running...there is some smoke..not a whole lot(but then again...the car wasn't really warmed up yet...so that could be why)...but there is quite a bit of pressure... it kinda pushed the oil cap in my hand when i took it off....if there is to much pressure...how do i solve it? or psi for that matter?

the car did smoke before and was using alot of oil...so i got it rebuilt...the turbo..and it still does it...i think the guy fucked up the rebuild or it has something to do with the crank case psi..like DLB said...

my car isn't using oil either...i let it run for like an hour last night alittle today...and the motor is still full of oil...but i have a small leak in my downpipe...so there is oil dripping out of that leak.......what is going on???

i taking it that u got a stock bottom end its not good news
u got a broken ring landing or pistons damage u got are getting blow by in your crank case making the turbo return line no drain because its to much pressure on the bottom of the engine so this means rebuild time

i just replaced the head gasket...car runs great..if it had a broken ring...the car would run like ****...it spools hard as hell...just smokes...
if its only one piston the car will run the same idle the same and every thing

#1 pistons got ring landing damage the smoke coming out the valve cover is blow by from that piston
i'm not driving it....its sitting has been since yesterday...i drove it like a block to see what was going on...so its just sittin...
