Default Please examine my set up

I am going to run a Ls in a Crx and this is what I plan to order in the coming weeks.
Drag turbo kit
NGK 7 series plugs
RC 310cc
Missing links
bosch fuel pump upgrade
clutchmasters stage 3
Greddy profec B w/ switch
Autometer boost gauge
Autometer a/f meter
What is the most boost that I could run on Race gas at the drag strip with this set up? Will I have any problems running 310cc? Could I run any bigger injectors with this exact set up? With this set up with race gas what kind of 1/4 mile times could I expect with the rear gutted, drag race inspired springs, Quaiffe, and a set of slicks? What size of slick would you guys suggest? thanks for the help and this is not a daily driver and I have a back motor so I will do a littleexperimenting but I dont want to blow up the motor due to leaning it but I dont care if I over boost it.

well, i dont know what turbo you are planning on using, but the RC310cc injectors will support up to 188 hp according to the forumla on RCengineering's website.

i noticed you didnt say anything about head and bottom end build up..
if you are wanting to build high boost motor, you need to go resleeve the block, get some aftermarket rods like eagle or crower, some lower compression Pistons like JE pistons. a Block guard would be necessarily for high boosts, you may want to balance your crank.

it sounds like you want to build a racer so you might want to have the head ported/polished, some aftermarket valvesprings like crower or webcam. get some cams like crower turbocams.. your choice of adj cam gears, have a good 3 angle valve job done..

as long as your fuel pump can keep up, you can go bigger injectors.
this is the link to RC's website for their formula's for figuring out how much HP a given size of injector will support. http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm

someone else will have to answer the other questions, i'm not too familiar with some of the stuff. and havent used slicks yet...

I think you need to take things one step at a time. Do you have a motor for your CRX yet? I see in one of your posts you say you have an LS motor in your CRX and are thinking about putting a VTEC head on it. Then in another post it says that you're about to start doing an LS swap into your CRX which is dated after the post about the LS/VTEC thing. Alot of people on this board don't like it when people come on here and start naming off parts that they're going to get and all these things that they're going to do. I've seen your posts before and you seem to be posting the same thing every single time with slight differences. What happened to Zdyne gold with 720's, then you say Zdyne with 440's, now you're talking about an FMU with 310's. I think it's time I follow Dustins route and just start being a jerk to all of these ridiculous questions.

I don't think he understands how fast and expensive a 10 second civic would be.

I have the motor for my CRX. I have two LS motors,GSR, and Prelude to be exact. The LS motor is now in my CRX. I asked the ls/vtec question because I was very close to getting the motor in and I was getting the oppertunity to buy a Gsr head for $500. That is the reason why I tryed to ask this question the way I did. What is the point of having a message board if you cant ask questions about stuff you dont know will work together correctly. The only reason why I work on Hondas is because of the great message boards. I could be fixing up a 95 na supra or a 93 RX7 but I choose to work on crx's and civic's. My set up changes because of money. I am currently working out buying a car that is more set up for drag racing already so that will put this project more on the back burner so I am backing the set up off. I was going to originally go with 440's and Zdyne but I relized that for not much more money I could just get the 720cc's and because of the imputs of people on the two set ups I adjusted it. Why do I have to have a 10sec civic to have that screen name. mplex2000 I bet you I have a 10 second honda before you do. I came within inches of having a 9 second honda because I was going to buy viren singhs but I decided it would be funner to build it myself because i THOUGHT that i had a message board that would help. See ya

I would have taken about 20000 dollars to buy a 9 second honda that I had in certified checks when I went to buy viren singhs car. How much does it take then? I garentee you that I can do it.

He's better because your still dreaming and you don't know jack **** about anything...

You ask bone head *** questions, but then you try to punk someone who is the person answering most of those stupid ******* questions...Leave your dreaming of setups to studyhall. Noone wants to analyze your setup...maybe doa search function and read the last time you posted the same thing and people answered.

Hes better because he has an Idea of what hes doing and a roomfull of parts that we've all seen pictures of, and maybe even has the **** together already.

Also, anyone coulda bought VS's Car...if we had 20k...Dont feel Special.

I wanna see you drive it to 9sec 1\4Miles and keep it running....

Suprdave - Who is Tired of Morons.

You don't put 10seccivic as your user name when you dont have a running vehicle.

What is the point of this message board if you cant ask questions. All I wanted to know is what kind of power you guys are getting from 310cc.'s because I keep hearing different things from different post when I use the search feature. The reason why I said what I did about viren singhs car is because someone question the amount of money I could spend if you look through the previous post. This is my first buildup and I just want to get the most for my money. I dont need to know jackshit to build a ten second honda I can just pick up the phone order every piece and have someone tune it to be a high powered set up. I am looking to get the knowledge to build a high horsepower set up so if you dont have the answer to my quesition dont question my ablity or money backing just answer the question. If a persons drream is to have a ten second honda why cant they use that as a screen name. Supradve why is your name invovle supra not that I care screen names dont make person. Get off the screen name because i am not loking to be even building this car into a 10 second car it is just a stupid name that I thought would be cool.

Suprdave = Superdave not SupraDave

Anyways, Noone cares if you ask questions...But the "Scrutinize my Setup", "What do you think this will run", "How much power will this make", Etc... Posts are kinda Old...

You can figure out you maximum Horsepower with a given set of injectors by using the Formulas on the RC Engineering Website and alittle common sense.

Sorry that I punked you out...but you were kinda asking for it.

All taht I want is real world experience. I am sorry that I waste peolpes time with my post but this is what info. I was wanting. Even if I did find out what horsepower the injectors are good to it dont tell me what kind of power my car will be making at a certain pound off boost. The only way that you can learn is buy asking. If people dont like the message dont respond you dont really need to mouth just hit the back button and act as you never saw the post. Can someone give me an email address to who I need to verify my post with so that I dont waste peoples time. thanks and I am still lokking for some real world experence and not formulas.
