please critique: plugs and compression test #
ok, pulled the spark plugs out after about a year. i was using the normal temp plugs (changed to 1 degree colder today). also checked the compression and every cylinder came out to be ~225psi. *sigh of relief*
the engine is f23a1 from 98-02 accord. i think the stock compression is about 9.x:1.
is it safe to assume from the compression number that all internals are in decent shape?
here's the pic of the plugs (cyl 4-3-2-1):

the plug from cylinder #4 looks like as it it suffered from lean conditions? all the rest look pretty much fouled. what do you think of these plugs? thanks.

#4 looks lean, and the rest, as you say, is in need of a replacement. Possible clogged injector on cylinder #4? Low pressure in the fuelrail (the other cylinders are hogging all the fuel)? What's the setup?
stock fuel rails, dsm 450cc injectors. vafc hack. you have a good point. i totally forgot about my injectors. might be due for cleaning/flow test. but i do run stupid rich, so other 3 maybe hogging all the fuel. or maybe fuel pump (still running on the stock one, but just bought walbro 255lph). might have to put the fuel pump in tomorrow just to be on the safe side. ugh.
