Default Plastigauge and ARP/AEBS rod bolts/main studs?????

Getting ready to check bearing clearance's useing plastigauge. Done this a houndred times, only I have always used the origional studs. Is it ok to fully assemblethe crank assembly, final torque on AEBS main studs, and then disassemble to check the clearance??? Same for the rods. I have been under the understanding you did not want to do final torque and then pull back apart due to the stretching of the bolts.

Yes did search. Nothing specific on this.

um AFAIK i thought the whole reason behind ARP/AEBS studs was the fact that they dont have bolt stretch liek the stock ones

My machine shops insists on using the aftermarket studs or whatever fasteners that are going to be used in the engine when they when they check clearances that way its torqued the exact same way it will be when the engine is finally assembled.
