Default Piston to wall clearance with JE Pistons?

I was wondering that the recommended Piston to wall clearance should be with JE Pistons? I checked the clearance for all of them and it looks like they average around .005 inch to .006 inch?? I think JE recommended like .003 inch or something?

Also, I pushed on the top of the piston on one side and the piston seems to "move" over a little bit is this normal?!

no, you measure the PISTON Skirt to the cylinder wall...

you should have a spec sheet from JE that tells you at which point of the piston skirt you should measure the clerance from...

mine is about 1/2" from the lowest point of the piston skirt..( I think, I'll double check in a few)

ohhhhh! Yeah I got the sheet, I didn't understand what that meant, haha. It says to measure some distance from the skirt. I'll do that tommorow. Thanks!
