piston question

Default piston question

this may be a dumb question but i just want to double check before i click the order button on these pistons.

stock ls crank and rods

i have a ls block b18b1 freshly bored to 81.5 will some 81.5 b16a pistons work ok with my ls block? in paticular these - http://www.ebay.com/itm/YCP-Honda-Ci...7dbfba&vxp=mtr

and here is another q...

used cp pistons with 20k on them or those ycp new ones...?

if your not going to upgrade your rods, then just get those b16 pistons.
yes they will work on your stock ls rods
make sure to buy arp rod bolts.... they are cheap assurance.

the b16s will work with the crank and rods, but i sure wouldnt be putting a turbo on that engine im sure its static ratio will be in the 12:1 range

heres the parts i have and plan to assemble soon....

cylinder head - 96 gsr head
-everything glass bead blasted
-5 angle valve job
-supertech dual turbo valve springs
-supertech retainers
-head resurfaced (0.003 removed)
-minor port and polish job
-golden eagle ls/vtec kit with sandwich plate and 6an steel braided teflon oil supply line
-golden eagle dowl pins for lsvtec head/block alignment
-aem adjustable cam gears with stock gsr cams (FOR NOW!)
-rc 1000cc injectors
-aem adjustable fuel pressure regulator

block - 96 ls b18b1
-bored .20 over to a final bore of 81.5
-shotpeened stock ls rods
-arp rod bolts
-ACL rod and main bearings along with thrust washers
-polished and re balanced crank
-gsr oil pump
-gsr water pump


now why wouldnt it be smart to turbo this....?
