Default piping for exhaust?

Hey guys, i have a potential good deal on some construction type steel pipe, it looks kinda like aluminized steel, but not sure. anyone know this kind of pipe (i think its stuff that goes in the ground) and would it be suitable for a turbo exhaust?

thanks!

Galvanized. Works fine. Welding it strips off the galvanization.
