I just got my JRSC back and there seem to be some problems with the motor. At about 3000rpms I got detonation occuring but only at a certain throttle position. Once I hear it I back of the throttle, but how bad is this for the motor...it's happened about 3 times....I ease off the throttle everytime I hear it. I'm just waiting to get it tunned.....should I be driving the car at all???

 

Detonation is very very bad for the motor. If I were you I would check your plugs first and see how they look. If it were me I wouldnt drive the car. Try retardng the timing see of that helps. You better wait to you get tuned to drive it man. Good luck
