It just makes running the vacuum lines a lot easier not to mention cleaner since you can do away with all the T's. What'd you make yours out of? Car looks good Hopefully we can meet up when i'm back in houston to get on the dyno again.

I really dig the vacuum box. What is the vacuum source for the box, brake booster? Nice setup

David fabricated the unit himself. I believe he bought the piece of aluminum for no more than 20 dollars and got the threads and all machined. Very easy to do your self with the proper tools.Im sure david will eventually tell use where and how he got this acomplished.-pdang

Nice idea! I kinda did that.......kiiiiinda. Just used brass nipples/tees and mounted them on firewall. Upper right set of tees is for vac, lower left is for oil

Thank's for all the replies guy's. I got the idea for the vacuum box from Alex (GSRev), and decided to make one myself. As you can see I did not cut out an area on the block to mount directly to the wall so I just made a bracket . The next one i make will be better and smaller with more sources. The block actually cost me $4.00, and 5.00 for the tap, and 12.00 for the bit. I had a machine shop do the labor since I've never used a drill press, never the less it's easy and very cost effective with a much cleaner look and it allows you to locate a leak much easier!
This block does not have one single source to feed off of. Me and my cousin thought about that before doing it, and realized that each output is a source within itself! So i don't know why Golden Eagle has one big plug for a source.
Dandee, we should be dynoing March 22. I just have to get in touch with Lawrence and Pasal.
Once again, thank you Peter for taking time out to do this!

We'll the main one I pay attention to is the EGT which is the easiest to look at in the top left corner. They are actually real easy to see with just a glance.

Theres a shop not to far from me called, I believe, Metal Wharehouse. They have just about everything over there. I forgot what size size we used for the lines, but it's pretty much the average size that comes with the vehicles out the factory. We also sanded and polished the box although it's a little dirty in the pic!
