Pics Of my buddy's New H22 block back from Benson
Hey guys-- Just thought I'd show some pics of my buddies block that just got back from Benson. He kept the stock bore, and is going to run 9:1 CP pistons and Pauter rods. Let me tell you, Dan Benson is the man. Here's some eye candy!!

Notice that although it started as a closed deck block, the new sleeves are still stepped .003" above the deck. Not that easy to do when starting with a closed deck.
Also note the shiney hole on the crank counterweight. That is a fresh balancing adjustment from Benson.
The 85 underneath the dome of the CP Piston is actually a forging number and really does not refer to the bore size.
Glad to see it made it back safely.

not to be a trainspotter - but weren't the closed decks h23's or did they have closed deck h22's?
