I would probably go with a gsr myself. Once upon a time I had a gsr block and threw a b16 head on it and that was a great combo. With the gsr block you already have vtec so all you have to do it throw the head on. With the ls/vtec you have to run all the lines and tap **** for vtec. Just easier and works great. I only did it because I had the block and head sitting in my garage and needed a motor so I threw them together. A straight gsr swap would be great.

A stock gsr would probably be the most reliable for
the money you would have invested.

If it were me, I would throw in a gsr. Its gonna cost a lot more than an ls but in the long run it will be worth it. You can make 350whp no problem with a stock gsr. My next choice would be an ls engine. You can make 300whp fairly easily and they are cheap as **** and readily available. Basically, it comes down to what you are willing to spend

A gsr head is fine, I would just run it stock.

GSR

more displacement than the B16, better flowing head than an LS, and it doesnt have FRM sleeves like the H22.
