Default Philly dyno day results

The dyno day weekend went well, but there was a bad turn out for Saturday. DC2R714, aka Nate, made 220whp and 175ft-lbs of torque @11psi but we ran into problems with his housing size as well as downpipe restriction. His car will be back in a few weeks with a 3" custom dp and .82a/r to rock some big #'s.

Here are some graphs of cars that attended:

The graph is 9psi on a 2000 Civic Si with a JRSC, dc sports header and SMC controller. This was my first SMC, it was kinda challenging in that there wasnt anything to base from or visually see.

This was a Ls/Vtec @9psi. Running a Inline pro manifold, t3/t4oe 57 trim with a .63a/r housing, 3" dp and 3" exhaust. Fuel system was DSM 450's and Hondata s100.

There was a bunch of other attendances with dyno graphs, but I didnt get a chance to pull off those graphs from the computer before we split tonight. Overall it was fun, great meeting everyone and I'll hopefully have another with a larger turn out.

Actually Jeff I was only running 9psi. I am already in the works to order the new turbine housing and I definitely will take care of that DP problem as well. Thanks for all your great tuning this weekend. I think overall the dyno day was a success. Unfortunately we had even more no shows than the last time I did this event, but those that did we appreciate everyone who came out to make this a great time.

that ls/vtec is solid. i bet he could have made even more with a little less fuel up top.

I run all the turbo cars I tune at 12:1 on the dot. Off the dyno I find that they lean out around .2~.3:1 when real world driving measured by my FJO wideband. Add temperature changes and your around 12.5:1 in the winter. The gain of leaning it out would be 5whp, really not worth it in my opinion.

Hey boosted,

On most of your T3/T4 setups, how much retard per PSI do you end up doing?

Just kinda wanna get a basis for what I should set mine too before I go to the tuner. Right now I'm thinking .7deg per PSI. This is an SC50 with a .63ar on a stock internal ZC tuned with the ZDyne.

Thanks for any input!

Nate and Boosted - we had a great time watching you guys in action
(now I've caught the turbo bug bigtime!)
Thanks for inviting me out - was a fun day...

Ya the .82 housing is on order and the DP is getting taken care of this weekend. Since I only had about 57miles on the new setup I wanted to keep the boost down since I am still breaking it in. Next Dyno Day I will be running high boost so we'll see what happens then I had a great time and was happy that everyone went home with a smile, even me Didn't make the numbers I was hoping for, but that will be easy to resolve. I am just happy I can drive and boost again

Next Time Pete you gotta get your *** out to the next Dyno Day and make some big numbers with me. We gotta show Josh not just Supras can make big power

haha I got almost 200 miles on it now and its all broke in for the most part. Rings have sealed. How is everything running for you? No leaks? smooth idle?

Oh here are some pics. I have some more too but I'll have to post them later.

I have some more at home I will upload later.

I saw that 240 up at the philly races on saturday.... Isnt the guy running a t3/to4e ?
Theres was a black srt-4 with a boost controller that was running **** down there... This srt-4 beat a blue lancer evo by about 5 car lengths... that neon was insane...he said he runs 12.9@104mph.. Of course the 240 had to show off the neon... that 240 is pretty fast, he walked the neon like he was standing still... What does the 240 run? Low to mid 12's?? what other mods does he have done?

The 240 pulled like 327whp@17psi on the dyno. He could have made more but wanted to run rich and conservative because its stock internals on an SR20DET. It was a very clean car.

Here are some more pics:

and last but not least. Nick's ITR representin Honda-tech
