Default Peak & Hold or Saturated

I was wondering what was better to use on a GSR turbo motor with Hondata. I want to be around 500hp.

peak and hold require a resister box
saturated dont

Ur stock injectors are saturated. I am using 1000cc peak and holds and would also recommend them for your power goals

I can't speak of their physical qualities, but I know saturated injectors of the larger kind tend to get ridiculously expensive vs. peak/hold units.. food for thought.

That "nothing" that makes them better is the ability to open up faster relative to a saturated injector of the same size. Once you get into really high horsepower, i.e. 400+hp, peak and hold's are superior.

resistor boxes are band aid fixes. the drivers in the ecu can not support the peak and hold injectors and adding a resistor box is not the correct solution, but a mere easy solution.

peak and hold injectors combined with peak and hold injector drivers are best (drivers found on motec, autronic and other high end engine management systems)

keep a look out, you will soon see peak and hold injector drivers appearing soon.

is it like this mase.

http://www.acceleronics.com/versafueler.htm

Acceleronics VersaFuelerTM (US Patent 6836721) simply splices in between your current ECU and the big honkin' injectors that your monster motor needs. Splice it in, hook it up to switched 12-volts and ground, and you're on your way to the races.

The VersaFuelerTM provides separate "peak and hold" logic circuits for each injector. The "peak" supplies up to 4 amps to snap big injectors open quickly, something your ECU cannot do. Once the injector is open, the "hold" turns down the current to prevent the injector from overheating.

Your ECU will never know that it's running the Acceleronics VersaFuelerTM instead of the injectors. The VersaFuelerTM will not cause your engine control computer to "throw a code", or turn on the check engine light, or do anything else that would be annoying.

The VersaFueler TM comes with everything you need for installation. The locking connectors are dustproof and waterproof. Inside the anodized aluminum enclosure, all circuits are encapsulated to make them resistant to moisture, dust and vibration. The Acceleronics VersaFueler TM is designed to provide years of trouble-free service.
