painting inside of intercooler pipes?......
i'm gonna be fabbing up my intercooler pipes soon, and i'm curious if i can paint the inside to prevent/slow down rust? i am using alumized steel. this is my first build, so i couldn't afford aluminum. can i spray the inside of the pipes to help rust from forming, or will that be worse down the line? anyone w/ steel piping please share your experiences.
thanx.

Re: painting inside of intercooler pipes?...... (bokals)
yeah, i was def gonna paint the outside. i've had these bends lying around for about 1 year in a box, and they only have surface discoloration. so i just thought it might have helped to paint.

I painted the outside of mine black. They look pretty good. I didnt worry about painting the inside, I dont think the rust will form since water and **** wont get to it.,
