You can have the vtec circuit added to the non-vtec ecu.You need to have the car tuned period.Your tuner can add the vtec circuit to the ecu for you.

Re: p75 w/ s200 hondata on b16a turbo? (mtber)
thanks a lot guys, One of the things is. that i am my tuner im going to tune it my self with a help a of a friend who is a good tunner but of different product not hondata, he never tuned hodnata before. I am in east Europe so there is not professional hondata tuners here.. people dont even know what hodnata is so thats why i am asking for your help. I have the p30 ECU so i can use it, i mean i can transfer all the chips from the p75 with the hondata all to the p30 because i have the know sensor on my JDM b16A 2nd gen 170hp. So i would just like to know the easiest way to go .. p30 or keep my p75/s200 and just add the Vtec option. Here is a pic of both ECU if anybody can look at it and tell me what i need to move from one to another i would be very thankful!

Romeditor 4 does not have the alternate vtec output option. That is only on an s300.
Original poster: You have not purchased Romeditor 4, so you must purchase that, then you need a emulator and chip burner. The cost of these is more than the cost of upgrading to the s300. You will aslo save yourself a huge hassle with tuning the s300.

Hmm, Last time I spoke to Doug he told me that it was going to be implemented, maybe I miss-understood.
I agree with upgrading to s300

Re: (mtber)
ok i went to the store and got srial calbe that came with drivers but the romeditor 4 is still not working, asking for serial number? is it possible that romeditor4 works only with hondata usb/serial cable? I did install the hondata on my p30 ECU so i have Vtec and everything, i got chip burner, eprom, and emulator .I have boost and stage 3 on my s200 .if cable thing doesn't work i guess i can just edit maps with romeditor and save them as a file and just record the file on my eprom. is that going to work?
P>S if i download romeditor3 is it free or it still need hondata cable?

Re: (UNIKATUT)
If I remember right their is a "thingy" in the Hondata cable for romediter 4 similar in function to the blue box.Adding the vtec components to your ecu is the most economical solution.
