Default P75 or PR4 headgasket?????

Hi, I am going to order an OEM headgasket for my boosted setup and copper spray it. I am using a 1998 P75 LS head with a 1995 B18b1 block.

When I go on acuraautomotiveparts.org it says the headgasket for a 1995 is a PR4 and for 1998 is a P75. I always thought they were the same but dont want to order the wrong thing. They are also slightly different prices, the P75 being more expensive.

My question is, which OEM part number should I use?

P75- 12251-P75-004
or
PR4- 12251-PR4-004

Thanks

Hmmm so they are the same dimensionally then? I wonder why they have a diff part number and price then.

Does anyone know if there is a diff in material or something or if one is better then the other?

Nothing different. The Dseries blocks have the same thing, "different" headgasket between the Z6 and Y8 engines, but they're the same thing and will work for both engines.

Thanks guys, Ill just go ahead and order the P75 one.

Also when copper spraying a head gasket, is there a certain method any of you guys like to follow. Do you do light coats and let dry for a certain amount of time or overnight?

i like to spray 3-5 light coats, let it sit for maybe 15minutes before the next coat, and also like to let it "dry" overnight.. i dont put them on soakin wet ever.

Great, thanks for the info. So 3-5 light dustings with 15 mins between each one and then an 8 hour overnight drying?

Do you usually hang them up from something to spray and dry? Or just lay it on the ground and flip it for each side?

Thanks again.
