Blown Oem headgasket?
Iv'e just blown my oem golden eagle headgasket with o ring. Is it ok to use a different type of headgasket such as cometic or etc.. or do I only have to use the oem oversize one from golden eagle with copper spray this time, but I still can't believe I blew a headgasket with a little more than over 800 miles on it and the block is o ringed how's this possible.

It's just another bandwagon type thing. Sure OEM is great, but I've ALSO seen one blow on the first pass. You can't really determine a products quality by 1 example. But I've used cometic now for 3 years without a single HG problem. In fact, I just ordered another one for my car because I got a damn compression tester stuck in the head and I'm gonna have to remove it to get it out. Pain in the ***!!!
I say give it a shot. I've always been one to find out by doing it. If you never try, you may never know!!!
