P75 Hondata or P72 Hondata URGENT HELP NEEDED*!
ok here is my issue...i CURRENTLY have a P75 with the Hondata s100b (w/ boost) but my tuner is recomending me to go with the s300 set up...i have no prob in doing this...but here is my only issue... i am running a DOHC GSR head (96) combined with the B20 block (98) turbo, set w/ a 9:1:1 comp.ratio....would i be able to just get the P75 re-socketed for the s300 and sell off the s100 chip or is it best to go with the P72... if im not mistaken...the P75 is a SOHC ecu correct... if i stick w/ this ecu (the P75),(if it is even possible) will that give me performance loss...as you guys can see...tuning really does not make much sence to me, so i appreciate any F/b in any form.thx...URGENT HELP NEEDED.

I am not an expert on Hondata buy any means, but the P75 and P72 are the same board (except for components to control vtec and IAB's). I would think that you could tune your car with either one equally.

The p72 would allow him to keep his secondary runners.
I'm using the p28 right now w/hondata s300 - its

few differences that should be pointed out unless you guys already know this
the hondata s100 uses a socket where as the s300 uses pins
if you want to convert an s100 ecu to s300 you would need to desolder the socket and solder in the new header pins
also as for iab curcuitry can be added to an ecu

Re: (93turbo16)
P75 (Integra non-vtec B18) can do IAB and VTEC both. Why bother buying a P28 when he can do it with a P75. Save your money bud.
PGMFI.org has info on IAB and VTEC in a P75.

It isn't a question of that ECU doing both. It is the fact of desoldering the socket, which can be a pain in the *** from experience, depending on who soldered it. I would still say get a new ecu.
