will a p72 oil pan be compatible with my b16a2 block?

you can use a p72 pan with any b seris motor but you cant use a b16/ls pan for a gsr or itr motor

very incorrect
the b16 does not have a block girdle and uses the same ol pan as the ls and b20 motors but they can also use the p72 oil pan,

the motors with block girdles like the gsr and itr motors must use the p72 oil pan and the b16 pan will not work

You can physically fit the P72 oil pan on a B16 and the B18A/B but I wouldn't advise it due to the oil pick-up on the B16 and B18A/B sitting a little higher due to not having the girdle. The pick-up sitting higher might not supply the full amount of oil thats in the oil pan due to not being closer to the bottom.
