P2Tcomputer dilemma
I know I'm not in the right forum for this but from experience I know the F.I. guys know their wiring. So here we go, I have a 98 Honda Civic EX SOHC VTEC. The replacement motor is a B16a2 with what I believe was the stock wiring harness. I just went on ebay and looked at a 99Si wiring harness that a seller says is complete and uncut, the same as i thought my B16a2 wiring harness was uncut. Well I get the P2T computer and for some reason there are only 2 plugs available plug A and plug C. My mechanic who I trust more than anyone says I need to find that plug, that plug being plug B.
The P2T's connector pattern goes as follows plug A, plug B, plug C, blank. Ironically the guy on ebay's 99 Si wiring harness looks just like my "uncut" wiring harness on my B16a2. I can't figure it out. The plug that fits plug b, we cut off the b16's wiring harness only problem is it's damaged unrepairably. So we go back to using my stock wiring harness it's been cut, which soddering each wire back is not a problem, but I could make out easy by finding a 99Si wiring harness, correct? Or find a OBDIIb connector plug B and my problems should be solved. I guess the conversion I'm trying to pull off is OBDIIa-OBDIIb. Need some feedback

Basically fellas my emissions sticker has expired I wanted to stay OBDII to pass legitly and not have to keep going back because i have a fails sticker.
What do you mean by built into the chassis harness? Are you referring to the harness that has the green plug on it where the ecu plugs into.
there are only 2 ecu plugs on the 99-00 civic si engine harness. the 3rd plug is on the harness inside the car. on the 96-98 harness, all the ecu plugs are on the engine harness.
U know what that's what I was thinking also, hence my reasoning from bringing up the ebay seller with the stock "uncut" Si wiring harness. His looks the same as the one that is on my motor, so I guess I will go tomorrow and start my car for the first time. Thank you soooo much and not to discredit what you have said but please I need more feeback and more vouches for what dturbocivic has said. He says the stock Si wiring harness only has two plugs. If so then these are the two that plug up to my computer the ony one left after plugs A + C are used is a blank for plug B and then a green plug that when ran through the firewall plugs up toe the green plug still left in my car by where the computer used to be, I guess that's the chassis engine harness a gentleman told me about. Please more comments
C'mon fellas I need vouches for what dturbocivic said about there only being two plugs on the engine wiring harness on a B16a2 motor. If so my problems should be solved. He says I need a 96-98 harness because the b plug on the 99-00 Si is on the chassis harness, Correct me if I'm wrong the harness where my original computer for the SOHC VTEC D16y8 motor connected under the glove box in my car is the chassis harness he's referring to. At this particular spot there is a green plug left the B16's engine harness plugs right up the two A + C plugs go in and then the green plugs fit. Unfortunately the chassis harness does not have a b plug there for the P2T computer. So the big question is how do I acquire a b plug connector or should I just go OBDI cause right now trying to stay OBDII does not seem like it's going to work out any time soon. Need feedback fellas.
