p28 chipped with crome for turbo?

i read up a little bit about this but couldnt find a real answer, i have 94 gsr and im buying a turbo kit from someone and it comes with a p23 ecu with crome is this going to work and be able to get tuned without messing anything up

yes it will work, you will be able to get it tuned.

i put p23 but i meant p28 sorry about that, will the p28 work as well?
