Default overheating after driving 30-45min

Ok..I have a d16z6(built but stock sleaves) that was boost'n 15 psi using a log mani and an Sc50 turbo for almost a year now. Recently..I upgraded to a GT2871r and Ramhorn mani running same amount of boost with a re-tune of course. Now after the upgrade my car is overheating after 30-45 mins of driving and this is without boost'n at all. I can boost on my car up and down the street no problem but when drive it for 30-45 mins the temp starts rising. Temp will come back to normal when I come to an Idle or I turn on the heater. With the heater turned on car will never overheat even when under boost . From the searched that I've done on here regarding overheats I don't believe my head gasket is blown, what do you guys think it is? two things different from the last setup is.... watercooled Gt turbo and Ramhorn mani. Eddyboy on here has the same setup minus Ramhorn mani he's using a log mani and he's having the Exact same issue. Help us out fellas

what radiator and what kind of fans are you using.

Are you low on coolant.

also it could be your thermostat.

Check the following

The thermostat
Low on coolant
Radiator leaks
Fan may not be coming on
Check the tightness of the hose's

Check your fan man, I had this ecxact problem and it ended up being my fan wired backwards, it was pushing air into the rad instead of pulling it out

I could boost no problem, but would overheat after a certain ammount of time

Easy mistake, easy check

aside whats already mentioned about radiator type/size and what type of fans and if its 1 or 2. check for exhaust leaks - easy way to overheat.

I will check this, Although...I did notice power out put not feel'n the same or better after turbo upgrade, pushing hot *** air into the intercooler does'nt help in that dept. lol!

My boy has this exact overheating problem, but he's running a stock fan with a Fluidyn radiator. He had already replace the rad cap and thermalstat, and still have the overheating issue. Maybe 3.5" intercooler is too thick? and not allowing good air flow to the radiator?

if all you changed was the mani and turbo i dont see it as being a reason to overheat, check your cooling system for what was mentioned already.

Check my fan today and I can't believe this ****....I wired it blue to blue and black to black, and the fan was pushing instead of pulling. I rewired it...took it for a spin and wow my car pulls alot harder since the intercooler is now able to do its job. I'll find out if it still overheat when I leave work since I always get stuck in traffic. Thanks for bringing that fan wiring to light Pinks.
