Default over boosting

i have a b16a turbo in my crx

i switched from a log manifold to an ebay manifold for the time being because the log one was cracked

im now over boosting as if the wastegate isnt even opening up

i know my spring is good and my vaccum source is as well. i never had this issue with my log manifold. could it be because of the new manifold? if so how were to i fix it

Its entirely because of the manifold - different runner design and bad wastegate placement will do that. Also, why the hell would you replace a cracked manifold with a shitty eBay manifold that is bound to crack? This is only a bandaid...and not even a good one

Also, you really need to get it retuned before you blow something up.

Sounds like he can't afford to do it right the first time, but for some reason, can make the same mistakes over and over again.
