8.8 JE PISTON AND EAGLE ROD... or something.
My official answer is - a hope and a prayer, or one hell of a good F1 team. EV.

I dunno, the Supra guys dreamed up another one called the SP88 or somethin... 88mm Inducer, yea that's a whole lot bigger than my throttle body. Supposedly its capably of 1400 bhp, probly need a 200 shot just to spool the damn thing though. EV.

In some mag I read about a Saab WRC car that runs about 50psi (could be less, but atleast 30+) and they do it without a head gasket. They have the block and head true'd up and have a groove cut around each cylinder that they fit with a metal ring, acting as the seal. Otherwise, I believe it is a stock block!!

Look at this bad boy
12-Second Volvo Super Truck
5-Time Super Truck Championship Winner
Specs:
Volvo TD-122
12.0 Liter Inline-6
Allison 6-Speed Automatic
Twin Garret Turbos
Max Boost - 60 PSI @ 2000-3000 RPM
1,350 BHP
1/4 Mile - 12.0 Seconds
Top Speed - 140 MPH
Oran Park Lap - 52.8 Seconds
Compression - 18:1
Front Brakes - 9 Inch Drums
Rear Brakes - 8 Inch Drums
Tires - 315/70/22.5 Continental
Weight - 12,000 LBS
Looking at the size of the turbos, you'd think they'd suffer from excessive lag. That's not the case, as the Volvo is able to develope the full 60 psi boost at around 2000 rpm and carry this all the way to the next gear change at 3000 rpm.The Volvo holds 40 liters of water on board for the water spray systems on the radiator, intercooler, oil, brakes, and fuel coolers.

HOLY ****!!!! Now I have seen everything! Imagine it running down the 1/4mile! It would suck to get smoked by a Semi.
BTW, I remember seeing a Semi run at SilverDollar Dragway...it was just a test/tune night. But there was a Civic lined up against it...and the funny thing was, the Civic almost LOST! The Semi shifted at least 20 times... I believe it ran like a 20 second time, vs the 18 sec Civic.

How much boost do you think that new billet block could handle. The one that has no sleeves, only holes are the water jackets and the cylinders.

Well aren't these pro's like Kubo, Callos, Bergenholtz, Papadakis etc.. pushing 30+psi on their setups?

turn it to an diesel engine, manufacture the block like a 2jzgte engine or an rb25dett and do a whole lot of praying to your respective religion, cross your fingers, pucker your rectum, and throw down a whole lot of cash.

Fill the block full of cement and make custom pistons out of lava rock

Back 25 yrs ago I used to hang out with a bunch of tractor pullers. The going setup was 2 turbos in series on the International Harvesters, I was helping wrench with a guy who was the field rep for White and had the "Hot Setup." He was running an Oliver with three staged turbos. When the Oliver was done with a run there was so much blow by that the diesel ran without injected fuel. We had to snuff the air off with the air valve to shut her down.
The V12 Allisons and Rolls Royces were fun too, not to mention the multiple Keith Black Hemis on a single tractor. The $'s that got blown in a weekend......... It was all write off "advertising" for my friends, all 2nd generation inheritors of successful farms.
For you technical trivia (but non farm) buffs, how do you get the bead to seal on those tubeless pulling tractor tires after you rolled one off the rim? Hint, has something to do with cooking bacon in the morning.

BigMoose

The Bergenholtz team pushes about 50 pounds of boost. It just all depends on who tunes the car and engine design, gas....stuff like that.

to answer the original question: use Tuolene as fuel. you can run up to 80 psi on that. be prepared to die of the fumes though.
