Default our day at the track, some good info for everyone.

Ok so my boy pulls up, first one to run. he has a 192hp setup, 2000 si with nos (tunned via hondata). He does a nice burn out then lines up, drops the clutch at 5500rpm on 14 stockies and the tranny blows up. spidergears are all over the place and a hole about the size of my fist on the rear of it. OK then my other friend pulls up, He has a 98 ford zx2 race head, stage3 axles, clutch(stage 4) and a PHANTOM GRIP. OK so he does his burn out, on nitto555r's and yes both tires light up. then he pulls to the line, dumps the clutch at 4500 and the tranny blows, yep the phantom exploded. Finally i pull up to the line. A decked out ne camarro SS goes to launch and the block breaks and oil+coolant go every where and the engine bay goes up in flames. After that, i said **** it. its been a bad day and just hung out with my friend, no race for me today. We say a total of 6 cars break something major all in about an hour, i did not lose any money cause had payed for the season 30bucks. Anyway thats my story

Damn the track crew must do a hell of a lot of coke or somthing----6 breaks in an hour. **** over here on the east coast they take an hour just to fix a blown tranny oil spill at the line.

I hear that. 1 drop of a/c moisture hits the track, and they're spending an hour cleaning, flaming, and scrubbing. Guess it's all about safety though, not for me or the other 13/14 sec cars out there, but for the 8-9sec bikes who dont like slippery starting lines

yeah, were gonna pull the ford tranny apart, and post pics of the damage so people can see what and how it was caused. and maybe end the phantom grip debate.
