Default Ouality of Honda's wideband O2 sensor vs. other??

I was just curious since there's been a huge influx of people jumping on the Honda VX/HX wideband O2, does anybody know who actually makes the sensor (I'm assuming Denso) and more importantly, how does it's quality stack up vs. other aftermarket wideband O2's? I already have the Techedge wideband monitor kit, I just need an actual sensor to use and obviously I don't want to spend more than I have to per-se so... does anybody know how Honda's sensors stack up??

The honda vx 02 is made by NTK, which is the same company that makes most 02 besides bosch.

My bosch sensor actually turned out to be an NTK too.

Well, all this is correct, but the price.... Well it's a little off to say the least...

The O2 sensor is #11 in that picture, and here is the description...

*Prod. # * Illus # ** Qty Req. *** Description ***** Color ***** List ***** Price
105837 *** 011 ****** 1 **** SENSOR, OXYGEN ** NONE *** 351.18 *** 263.42

Hopefully that all that lined up... But anyway you get my point they are still expensive, but they are 263. from an online honda parts dealer and less than that if you know someone at Honda... Hope this helps.

Later,

Sean C.
