OT: Umm, so how do I get Turbomafia recogntion again??
Hehe, yeah I want to be part of the elite hondatech turbomafia. If I remember correctly, dont I have to run around for a couple of weeks with an open downpipe and of course the ever so popular open dump tube?
Reason why I ask is cause I need to have my cat custom fitted to the car. And "I don need no stingking tow truck to take me der!"
Or is there more to it than that?

haha, open DP and dump tube... Try open header (no W/G) or DP in a drive to the muffler shop at 7AM !!! Sounded like a lawnmower on uppers, crack and a hit of acid...

I drove past the neighborhood cops house open DP doing test-n-tune runs at 10PM a few times. I also the drove around town for a few hours before the muffler shop opened up saturday morning......open DP of course.

Umm wait a min.. I've driven from Miami to West Palm Beach, back to Miami to a resurant before I got home at almost 3am.. all on open DP, and I did it twice! I want in the Turbo-Mafia dammit!

i read some posts a few months back (when archived searches still worked!) and basically
1) you can't ask to become part
2) open wastegate is the key

I think this might be relevant, probably not but does anyone know where I can get a pre-fabricated b pipe for "track"? I wanna run open for a bit, but not straight from the headers...

thanks, this would have really helped when I was thinking about running a dual route switch. Decided against it, but still intriguing. I was looking for something that would let out the exhaust somewhere below or behind the driver's seat... reasoning that most of the noise will radiate away from <U></U> me <U></U> and maybe break some storefront glass ...just playing. Basically a pipe from dp to somewhere near cat placement or maybe off to the side near skirts.

**** can I be next too???? **** I drove my turbo crx d15 hf for like six months with a opened down pipe until I got boost happy and went and turned the boost up to 10 psi. Sold it, now I feel sorry I did that **** was a fun little beater. Now I'm back with a built b18a with a haltech e6s controlling the fuel. Running 20 psi plus+++
