this guy uses some radiator hose in place of piping between intake manifold and intercooler. i was hoping someone else had done this so i wouldnt be the first crazy person to try it. (the radiatior hose, not a turbo van!)

I ran radiator hose for a large portion of my piping in my original install. Used 2.25" short lengths of pipe as couplings to join sections of radiator hose. It worked acceptably well but honestly when I replaced it with some mandrel bent steel pipes my car became MUCH more responsive and I think my boost instantly went up 1.5 psi.
