Ever since F&F the entire import scene changed. Maybe not for you Cali guys, but here in NJ everything changed. You can also tell from the magazines. Look at recent SS and SCC magazines compared to older ones. They're all body kits and crap mods aimed at dumb *** kits. That damn movied f***ed everything up.

And it wasn't that good either.

 

I helped my friend install NOS on his lawnmower. He cuts his 27 acre lot in about 16 minutes now.

*update - my friend was doing wheelies and flipped his lawnmower.

 

I use NOS to cool my CPU. I can overclock it to 2.2Ghz now!

When I have ladies over, I use NOS to chill the wine. Needless to say I am a pimp daddy.

You're lucky that 100 shot 'a NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake!

 

I dont think the scene has gotten much bigger since FnF, I think it was dying and FnF gave it a kick in the butt again.. I dont think theres more cars now, I think the "outsiders" are more keen to it now.. just like after I installed my turbo, my dad had never seen a FMIC but now hell come home and hell be like "i saw a supra today with a front mount" where as before mine he woulda never noticed something like that.

 

Hehe, I got Mechanix gloves and The Fast and the Furious on DVD for Christmas. My wife keeps making fun of my movie calling it "ethinic" but I just tell her it's targeting the baggie pants wearing, rap listening youth of today.

Nitrous really isn't that bad, and there have been a recent spur of questions, and yes probably due to the release on dvd.

BTW: Nitrous isn't for amateurs, I've seen you drive, you have a heavy foot.

Oh yeah and I agree w/ what Dire said. My dad was a domestic freak until I taught him a few things, now he's just as interested in import performance as he is domestic. It's cool to talk to your pops about cars.

Yeah eversence that curious movie came out Iowa has gone to rice combat, we got cobat wings on berettas and dual N1 exhaust tips on Luminas.

We also have the the export/import conversion taking a 5.0 mustang and putting the biggest wing on there you can, geeting some dragon graphics on there, altezas and some cheezy *** dtm dual exhaust setup with sidemarkers.... I mean WTF these guys here are really slow and very curious...

Oh by the way let me get a cold air intake for my T4 turbo and a standalone for about $10,000

And please guys whatch out for your floor when going over 150mph, cause mine always seems to fall out

Granny shifting and not double clutching like you should.

Oh BTW double clutching is a method of DOWNSHIFTING. People had to use this method of DOWNSHIFTING before trannys came with syncronal(sp?) mesh.

Another attention to detail was "Jonny Tran" in the garage with Tim the motor guy where he asks for ENGINES specifically SR20DE engines.... RIIIIIIIGHT and the cars there going into is a civic and integra waiting for them... Oh well...just a movie but love to criticize this ****. Peace
